Mary's Hope needs for April: Apr. 4 - Juice Apr. 11 - Canned fruit Apr. 18 - Canned tuna Apr. 25 - Canned hash or chili A list of all food pantries and soup kitchens in Newburgh is available in the Parish Office. Catholic Charities Community Services of Orange County provides a variety of bi-lingual services to individuals and families including: Information and referral, case management/service coordination, emergency assistance for rent, utilities, transportation, food, and clothing (limited by available resources), entitlement assistance and advocacy. Services are provided at the following Newburgh sites; contact Meluska Merino at 646-315-4618 for more information: Mon- Catholic Charities Clinic - 62 Grand St Tue, Fri - Sacred Heart Activity Building, 319 Broadway Wed - HRC Partner Room, 280 Broadway, 3rd floor Meals on Wheels of Greater Newburgh needs volunteers to help with deliveries or for referrals of new clients. Please call Robin Bello at 845-562-3490 for more information. Newburgh Ministry Wish List: Coffee & tea, decaf only, 8 oz. paper hot cups, jars of non-dairy creamer, packets of sugar. Volunteers & financial donations are always welcome. People who come to the Ministry are in need of blankets, sheets, toiletries, etc. Y Off-Broadway Community Thrift Shop, 292 Ann Street, Newburgh, across from Sacred Heart Rectory is open to benefit the Newburgh family YMCA.
